Catherine Haslett

Born in Daytona Beach, Florida; I moved with my family  to New York, Illinois, Kentucky and finally Alaska when I was entering sixth grade. Up until that point I was a Catholic school student but as Lumen Christi was not yet open, my parents enrolled me in public school. This ended up being a great decision because Service High School is where I would eventually meet my future husband Josh, and where we would both learn amazing life long lessons from our NJROTC unit. 

Josh and I bounced between Alaska, Texas and Arizona in our 29 years of marriage, returning to our beloved Alaska in 2022.  We are the proud parents of Caitlin, McKenzie, Ashley, Sydney and Brandon as well as grandparents to Gabriel, Genevieve and grandbaby #3 coming December 2026.  We are a tight knit family who loves to spend time together camping, hiking, biking, playing board games, crafting and cooking. 

I am a graduate of Texas A&M University, as are my two eldest daughters. I graduated with a BBA in Management and Marketing while serving as the captain of the varsity rifle team and as the founder of the Alaskan Aggies club. Additionally, I earned a Masters in Family Studies from Texas Woman’s University. I am scheduled to complete my M.Ed. in Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment this December.

This is my fourth year at Lumen Christi and I am very excited for the upcoming year!
