It’s National Bus Driver Appreciation Day and boy-o-boy do we appreciate our “BUS BOYS”!
Rain or shine, below freezing or warm and sunny….these fine gents are driving back and forth from Eagle River and Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton every single day, transporting precious Archangel cargo.
Our community just wouldn’t be the same without the families (especially Eagle River ones) who rely upon the busses.
THANK YOU Mike, Jim, Paul and Bernie (not pictured, Pol and Fr Tom.) Lumen Christi is a better and richer place thanks to your tireless efforts and commitment to our families and community.
We hope you enjoy your new sweatshirts, rain jackets and beanies! ... See MoreSee Less
On Thursday we held our second annual all school talent show. Congrats to 10th grader Malcolm for his second win for a blindfolded rendition of “Africa“ by Toto.
Other entrance included seventh grade Teddy doing tricks on his RipStick; a duet featuring 9th grade Erik and band/choir director Mr. Loeffler: another duet featuring 8th graders Nick and Henry; a Stairway to Heaven solo by 10th grader Noah; and a rousing rendition of “Baby Shark” 🦈 by 11th grade Ian and his 8th grade Shark-ettes. Oh…and did we mention a surprise appearance by the Easter Bunny? 😂
Special shout out to 8th grade emcees Margaret and Tamae - you were fabulous - we can’t wait for next year! ... See MoreSee Less
On Friday, Mr Ross traveled to our sister school St Elizabeth Ann Seton to hand out gift cards and awards to the 6th grade winners of the Catholic Schools Week essay contest titled, “Why I Love Catholic Schools!” The competition was keen, the essays well written, but in the end, three stood out. Congratulations to 3rd place Elizabeth, 2nd place Cillian, and 1st place Penelope! ... See MoreSee Less
We look forward to this day every year, when our fifth and sixth grade “sister-school” students join us for an afternoon of hands on science learning. From sublimation to embryonic cycles to liquid nitrogen to aerodynamics of flight… and everything in between….it was a whole lot of fun mixed in with even more learning! ... See MoreSee Less

In preparation for Science Day on Friday, some of Mrs. Bouton’s physics students built a Ruben’s Tube to demonstrate acoustic standing waves….as the music changes, so do the size of the flames.
And what better way to test the quality of those flames than to toast a few marshmallow snacks?! 😂 ... See MoreSee Less
It would better demonstrate audio frequency waveforms if you had a pure tone generator instead of music. A great demonstration in any case!
Just my nerdy $0.02.
Yesterday we had a school wide Easter egg hunt. Mixed in with all of the candy filled eggs were TWO golden eggs. Inside one egg was a coupon for a a casual (no uniform) day; the other contained a coupon stating that the winner had to dress as the Easter Bunny for the whole day!
Congrats to the causal day egg winners (truly a joint effort in finding and retrieving so they both got the prize) Kaleb and Benjamin; and to Irelynn who was our bunny celebrity of the day. Thanks for being a good sport Irelynn! ... See MoreSee Less

Even though it’s nearly the end of the school year, we continue to welcome new students into our classrooms.
These newest ones are quite small and don’t talk much, but are still a fantastic addition to our growing community 😉.
Lumen Christi….hands on learning, and fun! ... See MoreSee Less
