From the Principal:
Over the past two weeks, over half of our student body participated in either the Jingle Bell Run or the Polar Plunge, or both. Together, we raised almost $1400 for the Arthritis Foundation and nearly $1300 for the Special Olympics. Thank you to the students, staff, parents, alumni, alumni of parents, and friends of Lumen Christi who helped put our faith into action and provide service to our community!
From my own family and the staff and teachers of Lumen Christi, we wish all of you a merry Christmas and a blessed New Year. Thank you for entrusting us with the education of your son or daughter. We have had an exciting first semester and we look forward to welcoming everyone back in 2018. Be safe!

PVO News:
It is hard to believe that this is the last week of the first semester! I would like to thank everyone that has supported our school, teachers, and staff so far this year through PVO. Our primary goal this year has been to support and enhance all of our current activities and we have been successful enhancing several including Attic Fridays, Teacher/Staff Appreciation, Community Outreach through our Fall Open House, and our school Scrip Program use. Work has already started on our Gala and will be in full swing when we return from break. It will be a very busy time for us and we hope you will consider what you can to to make this year’s Gala a great success! You can sign up to help online http://signup.com/go/oZVcYYb and please plan to attend our next Gala meeting on January 9th at 7pm. Your ideas are needed! We will also need continued Attic Friday support throughout the Spring- http://signup.com/go/cVMeBzw.
Wishing your family a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful time filled with family and friends and many new memories during our break.
