Next week, we will focus the efforts of the 9-11 graders towards doing well on the PSAT and the efforts of the Seniors towards taking the ASVAB on Wed, Oct 19. That same day, our Junior High students will attend Mass at the Blessed Sacrament Monastery at the Sisters of Perpetual Adoration and participate in community service projects at different locations in the city. And I look forward to seeing everyone at Parent Teacher Conferences at the end of the week. Blessings to you!
Remind: We will be using Remind this year for communicating announcements in the event of school closures, emergency notifications, and general school reminders. Mrs. Estes has added parents and emails to Remind. You will receive an email informing you that you have been invited to Remind and at that point you may also opt to receive text messages and/or get the app on your smartphone. Below you will find some additional information:
- Some parents were already in our Remind database from previous years. Please take a moment to go to your account and update any necessary information. It is extremely helpful to us to have full first and last names.
- If we missed a parent who would like to receive announcements and reminders, please let Mrs. Estes know as she will send an invite as soon as possible. We would like a least 1 parent on the Remind list but if the 2nd parent would prefer to not be included, please let Mrs. Estes know.
Next Scrip Order: We will place our next Scrip order on October 14th, please have orders submitted either online or fill out an order form at the office no later than 3pm on October 14th to be included in this order. Erika Dahm, Gerianne Thorsness or Jessica Estes can answer questions about Scrip. To learn more you may also visit: shopwithscrip.com Lumen Christi’s enrollment code is: B968B67E44853

On test day please be sure your student eats a good healthy breakfast as no snacks are allowed during the testing period. Also, it is important that your student arrives to school prior to the 7:45 tardy bell to ensure they are not late for the start of the test. No students are allowed admittance once the test begins. ASVAB: The ASVAB will also be administered on Wednesday, October 19th to 12th grade. They will also need to be here before the 7:45am tardy bell as well.
October Inservice/Conferences: October 20th & 21st will be half days for parent/teacher conferences which will be held in the Student Room. Please come at your convenience during the designated conference times to meet with the teachers. If you have any questions, please call the office.
