Marcy Adkins

In 1979 I moved to Anchorage from Seattle, ready for a life of adventure in the last frontier. In 1982 I married my husband and best friend, Lonnie.

I have been a member of St Benedict Parish since 1989. In 2001 I joined the staff as the Pastoral Assistant and assumed management of Accounts Payable, Human Resources, Facilities Scheduling and Archdiocesan Safe Environment oversight for both the Parish, and Lumen Christi.

In 2022 I was promoted to Business Manager for the Parish and the school, and added Budgeting, Accounts Receivable and Tuition Management to my list of duties. While busy, working here remains my dream job. In our free time my husband and I enjoy reading, camping and traveling.
