I was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, and came to the great state of Alaska in August of 2023. So far, the weather has been quite different than Florida’s (I have been loving it though).
After graduating from Creekside High School, I decided to continue my studies at a small Catholic college in North Carolina run by Benedictine monks. This college, rich with storied history (and of which I am a legacy) is called Belmont Abbey. Here I met some of the greatest friends I have, and learned under brilliant professors, Priests, and monks how to deepen my capacity for thought, knowledge, and confidence in my Faith. I graduated in 2023 with a Bachelor of the Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with Concentrations in Education & Theatre. Theatre has been an important part of my life for the majority of it at this point. I began acting at the age of 11, and have not stopped yet. Since then, I have honed my acting with classical training, and learned the beauties of directing, choreographing, and writing.
Amidst the COVID pandemic, after having been sent home from college to continue my studies online, I discovered my love for teaching, and reminisced about my previous experiences in working for drama camp as well as Vacation Bible Sschool. I finally knew that my dream was to be a teacher, and, God willing, teach theatre in addition to typical classes. This is my first year as a teacher and I could not be more excited to be at such a wonderful, faithfully rich institution.
My life motto comes from St. Francis of Assisi: “There but for the grace of God go I.”
Glory to God in the highest.
