First introduced during the 2022-23 school year, the Lumen Christi House System provides the structure for every student to belong to an ‘immediate family’ within the greater Lumen Christi school community. Houses consist of students from each grade level, and are led by representatives from the 12th Grade leadership team supported by faculty and staff advisors.
Integrating students from all grades helps to deepen intergrade relationships, build school spirit, provide opportunities for servant leadership and mentoring, all while shaping our Catholic community and amplifying the school’s mission. Students remain in the House to which they are first assigned throughout their time at Lumen Christi allowing for a natural maturation into leadership over the years.
Lumen Christi’s Houses are named after Saints whose lives exemplify our faith, and in turn provide students with role models throughout their Lumen Christi career and life. Each House sponsors two Virtues, a Lumen Christi Core Value, and an Attribute of a Lumen Christi Graduate. Additionally, each House has a unique color that represents the House.
