Class of 2024 alum Sophia Turner recently checked in and she said she’s thoroughly enjoying her time at Montana State University in Bozeman!
“Lumen Christi prepared me well for school, I'm using study tactics I learned there for my exams, here. Thanks to Lumen’s rigorous course load it was a smooth transition into college academics and I was able to easily manage my 17 credit course load this semester. Aside from academics I was initiated into my Sorority Alpha Omicron Pi (AOII) and have made a ton of amazing friends. I have also dabbled in club sports including the rugby and equestrian clubs.”
THANK YOU Sophia, for checking in!

Each fall, seniors are tasked in their Theology 12/Bioethics class to identify and research issues with deep with moral, philosophical and/or theological considerations. Their research is then translated into individual capstone projects which examine the issue from both the Catholic perspective and contemporary cultural beliefs - which are often in stark contrast to each other. With research complete, students then present their topic, outlining and defending the Church’s teaching to a forum of fellow students, staff and parents.
We’re proud of this year’s class who definitely did NOT shy away from taking on some heady topics. ... See MoreSee Less

Since 2018, Lumen Christi has partnered with Virtue = Strength, a Catholic sports ministry program used by over 150 Catholic schools and dioceses all over the lower 48 and Mexico.
Two of the four pillars of the Virtue = Strength program are ceremony and Catholic identity. Bringing these two pillars together, we established the tradition of “Rosary Rallies” before our high school soccer and basketball seasons in order to pray together, formally recognize our teams and to offer special intentions of the coaches, players, and families - past and present.
Now in our 5th year of Rosary Rallies, last night we gathered to start the 2024-25 basketball season and to honor and pray for the soul of Tiffany Gregory, beloved wife of Tom (who coached our boys and girls basketball teams to multiple conference championships for several years) and mother of Makenzie and Brenden, a Class of 2022 graduate of Lumen Christi. During his time at Lumen Christi, Brenden scored over 1800 career points, including 51 points in a single game versus Unalaska in February 2022. He was also named 1A Player of the Year in 2022.
A proud Lumen Mom (“Lu-Mom”,) Tiffany was a fierce and ardent supporter of both Brenden and Makenzie, Lumen Christi sports, and all our athletes. Despite her health, Tiffany was, as one fellow Lu-Mom put it, “a valiant warrior inspirational in her strength, bravery, and faithfulness.” Tiffany rarely missed a game or a chance to cheer on our Archangels and we know that she will continue to do so from heaven’s bleachers.
Rest in peace Tiffany, and may God ease the ache in the hearts of Tom, Mekenzie, Brenden, her parents, siblings and all who love and miss her. ... See MoreSee Less
