Principal’s Update:
This week, our 9-11th graders survived the PSAT test challenge and the Seniors tackled the ASVAB. In the spirit of faith in action and the Corporal Works of Mercy, half of our Junior High students visited the sick and elderly and decorated the Prestige Care Nursing Home in Halloween and fall colors while the other half honored the dead by cleaning over 140 headstones at the Anchorage Cemetery.
If you made it into the school Thursday or Friday, you quickly noticed the hustle and bustle of activity in the gym as we host the “Spike Out” Spiketacular Volleyball Tournament. Thanks to all the parents, friends, and families who have donated their time, talent, and/or treasure by working in the concession stand, selling tickets at the gate, serving as line judges or scorers, or bringing in home cooked meals to host the Hospitality Lounge for coaches and other tournament officials. We are a small school, but we clearly have a big heart! Thank you again!
It was also great seeing and visiting everyone who came in for Parent-Teacher conferences! Combined with service projects and testing, it has been a busy, busy week for our students, families, and faculty, so I hope everyone enjoys the new snow and has a wonderful, blessed, and safe weekend.

Lumen Christi’s “Spike Out” Spiketacular Volleyball Tournament: A huge thank you goes out to Coach Billy for organizing this awesome event in which 16 teams from around the state will participate. Also, we couldn’t pull it off without our wonderful parents, students, and alumni who have volunteered to either donate food, run concessions & gate, and scorekeep…so thank you very much. Lumen VB girls play their final game today (Saturday) at 3:30pm…stop by to cheer them on!!!
