This past week, our Archangels have been busy putting their faith into visible action. Several classes helped put together Thanksgiving food baskets for the St. Benedict’s Outreach program and we had five students assist St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School teachers and faculty last Friday afternoon. Almost the entire school contributed to Student Government’s annual Stuffing Drive, collecting nearly 750 boxes of stuffing mix to be given out to needy families in coming days. Way to go, Lumen!
In the same spirit of giving, remember, our Team Lumen Christi team page for the Arthritis Foundation’s Jingle Bell 5K Run/Walk on December 10th can be found at http://www.jbr.org/anchorage/
I hope you enjoy the long weekend and your Thanksgiving holiday with friends and family. Give thanks to God for our many blessings!

We are still looking for about 3 more procurement callers. This job starts in December, and you can earn double parent share hours for it!! Once the letters go out, you simply call the businesses to see if they are willing to donate. Most places just need that friendly voice on the other end of the phone as a reminder to donate to our auction. The more callers we have, the less calls each person will need to make!!
-
For those working on Procurement, there will be a meeting on December 8th at 7:30, right after the Gala meeting
