Hello! My name is Kimberly Vergara Guzman and I am a first generation Mexican American, born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I was first introduced into the Catholic faith by my parents when I was only a few months old and Catholicism continues to encompass my life!
In 2017, I graduated from Concordia University in Irvine with a BA in Psychology. Since then, I have been a volunteer, and advocate for different organizations such as Make a Wish Foundation, local churches, and worked for an ABA therapy nonprofit. My personal, educational, and professional experiences have led me to have a growing passion to help individuals and the community as God designed us to do.
In November 2018, my best friend and I received the beautiful sacrament of marriage and moved to Germany. We were blessed with the opportunity to travel all over Europe while being stationed there. My husband and I were transferred to Alaska in December 2020, and we have enjoyed every second since!
For fun, I love traveling, watching baseball games (Go Dodgers) and going to Disneyland when given the chance. I love my husband, family, and God! As a Catholic I seek God every day and continue to use my gifts to help others and am beyond happy to be part of the Lumen Christi family.
