Admissions for 2024-25

*Admissions are now closed for the fall semester of the 2024-25 school year.  Admissions for the spring semester beginning January 6, 2025 may be considered on a case-by-case basis.  Please contact Anne Gore at 907-273-1538 for more information.

Are you interested in having your son or daughter attend Lumen Christi for the 2025-26 school year? If so, please mark the following dates on your calendar: 

January 27th, 2025

1. Re-enrollment opens for existing Lumen Christi students;
2. Enrollment opens for siblings of existing Lumen Christi students;
3. Enrollment opens for Saint Benedict Parish families;
4. Enrollment opens for Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton 6th Grade families.

A completed Application for Admission and Request for Student Records is due at this time for incoming siblings (#2). The $100 registration fee will be added to the family’s Blackbaud Tuition Account.

A completed Application for Admission, Request for Student Records and the $100 registration fee is due for all other applicants (#3 and #4).

February 3th, 2025

• Enrollment opens for families from all other Catholic parishes.
• A completed Application for Admission, Request for Student Records and the $100 registration fee is due at this time.

February 24th, 2025

• Enrollment opens for all students.
• A completed Application for Admission, Request for Student Records and the $100 registration fee is due at this time.

Application Delivery

• Returning students do not need to submit a new application.
• New siblings of returning students may have their application paperwork dropped off by their sibling.
• Application paperwork for all other new students may be dropped off in person 7:15am-3pm, M-F; mailed to: Lumen Christi Catholic High School  ~ 8110 Jewel Lake Road ~  Anchorage, AK 99502; or scanned and emailed to agore@lumenchristiak.com
• Application paperwork for new students is not considered complete until the $100.00 registration fee is paid. If the application was mailed in without a check, please call the Front Office at 907-245-9231 to pay the fee by credit card.

April 1st, 2nd and 3rd, 2025

Math and language arts assessments will be conducted from 3:30-5:00pm.  Prospective students are required to attend two of the three days. On the first day the math assessment will be administered and on the second day, the language arts one. The decision on which two of the three days to attend is at the family’s discretion.

Assessments are administered to determine if admitted, what math class the student will be placed in; and at what level of reading comprehension/writing they are working.  These assessments are not graded and if admitted, do not become a part of the student’s official record or transcript.

After submitting your completed Application, Request for Records and paying the $100 registration fee, please email Anne Gore at agore@lumenchristiak.com to register for April assessments. In your email, please indicate your student’s name, current school, current grade, current math class and which two of the three days your student will be attending.

*Note for parents/guardians of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton 6th grade students: You do not need to register for assessment days. A Lumen Christi representative will administer these at SEAS during the last month of school.

Invitations to complete the enrollment process will be mailed to admitted students.  Students who are unable to be placed will also be notified in writing and provided with the opportunity to discuss the decision in person with the Principal, Director of Advancement and/or Dean of Academics.
